You will find in here all necessary information regarding the way we gather your data when you visit one of our websites (including all events websites powered by Connect Minds Kft.), interact with us (inquiries, downloads, etc.) or buy a product and how you can access, modify or control it.
Through all types of interactions you have with us through website visit or inquiries, we collect only 1 kind of information:
- The personal data you are willing to share with us when downloading a document on our website, entering surveys or buying tickets from us (free or paying) – in other words, we DO NOT use cookies!
Your Personal information
We use the personal information you provide voluntarily to send all necessary requested information and to complete orders.
Depending on how you interact with us, specific use of your personal information varies:
Newsletter sign-up, document download, events registration
You provide name, job title, company, email address and phone number. By doing so, you show an interest in a specific product for which we will send you updates, email announcements and information about. We will also use your personal information to send you targeted information related to the topic you have expressed your interest for (i.e. related articles / information we came across during research, promotional emails for similar types of events we organize, solutions that some of our partners can offer, etc.).
Event Registration
When you register for any event organized by Connect Minds, we may collect information about your professional responsibilities in order to better target our events and eventually offers better services.
This may also be used for marketing / reporting / research purposes. You will receive email announcements and updates about the event and other related products and services.
Payment
For services that require payment (event registration, event merchandising, some subscriptions, etc.), we may have to collect credit card information (holder name, number, expiration date and 3-digit security code) needed by our third party billing agent (CIB Bank, part of San Paolo Intesa Group) to confirm order. We do not handle nor store such information that are managed by our payment partner.
The only third party we work with (CIB Bank) has the task to process credit card payment only. They do not store your personal data and do not share your credit card information details.
We deliver orders and we are the only one using your personal data for communication / promotion purposes. We do not rent or sell our email lists.
We release personal information when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Surveys and Research
We conduct research and surveys, in which participation is completely voluntary. In addition to the other uses set forth in this policy, contact information collected in connection with surveys and contests can be used to notify the respondents with potential prizes and awards and to improve the satisfaction with the event, website or other product or service.
Personal information update
To update or unsubscribe from our email newsletters or product announcements, change your address or delete your name from our mailing list, please send an email with your request to contact@connect-minds.com.
Information gathered is dealt with the utmost confidentiality and is never shared with any other third party.
Information collected could be stored for as long as it is required for the uses stated above, unless you express the desire to opt-out of all our communication campaigns.

Should you request that we amend or suppress records containing your personal data we will endeavour to do so as promptly as practical; however you may receive communications for a transitional period whilst we process your records.
